Thank you for your quick response. I am the grandson of Peter Edeval Olson who listed Mosjoen as his home town when he applied for a homestead in Alberta, Canada in 1914. He had two brothers, Oscar and Emil who emigrated with him. They arrived in Alberta in 1912. There was another brother, Fredrick, who came later and was killed in WW1.
My best guess was that Peter Edeval was born in or around 1856. I am looking for birth and marriage records
for Peter, Oscar, Emil, and Fredrick and their parents and grandparents.
Do you have anyone there who could help me?
